Pilgrimage – Churches’ Visitor & Tourism Association Reunion, Conference & AGM, 10&11 October 2025 at the National Shrine of St Jude, Faversham

Do you welcome walkers and ramblers, occasional worshippers who stop by to think and pray, or open your church for casual visitors? Have you ever wondered how to enhance your welcome, or ensure the tourists who arrive at your church or sacred space leave as pilgrims? Might pilgrimage be a way to reach out with the Gospel or deepen the discipleship of your congregation? And what defines a pilgrimage anyway?

In this renewed season of interest in pilgrimage across both Christian and secular sectors, the Churches’ Visitor & Tourism Association invite you to join them to explore this whole fascinating topic through visits, talks and shared experiences of making pilgrimages. All are welcome on both days or one of the days – please just let CVTA know via their Eventbrite booking link. There is a suggested donation of £12 per person for any (or both) of the two days, which will go towards administration and refreshments. Accommodation is at your own expense – a list of local providers is available on request.
