Live by the Spirit, I say, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh. For what the flesh desires is opposed to the Spirit, and what the Spirit desires is opposed to the flesh. (vs 16-17)

Now those who were scattered because of the persecution that took place over Stephen travelled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, and they spoke the word to no one except Jews. (v. 19)

'The glory that you have given me I have given them, so that they may be one, as we are one.' (v. 22)

But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us. (v. 8)

'And my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour.' (v. 47)

But Moses said to him, 'Are you jealous for my sake? Would that all the Lord’s people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit on them!' (v. 29)

When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, 'Peace be with you.' (v. 19)

'Now therefore, if you obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession out of all the peoples.' (5a)

'As the scripture has said, “Out of the believer’s heart shall flow river of living water.”’(v. 38b)

'Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives.' (v. 27)

… the Rock of Israel has said to me: One who rules over people justly, ruling in the fear of God, is like the light of morning, like the sun rising on a cloudless morning. (vs 3-4)

So you are no longer a slave but a child, and if a child then also an heir, through God. (v. 7)
