Queer Faith and Art

For much of their early life, Grace felt pushed to the margins of Christian spaces. As a queer performance artist, Grace often sensed that their identity and faith were seen as incompatible. Grace now worships regularly at Union Methodist/URC Church in Margate, often accompanied by their beloved pet rats.

For their most recent project they have created four large collages depicting a war zone. Entitled 'From Devastation to Hope’ each picture shows the dove of peace ever present as a sign of hope. -
Wesley Hotel Camden Rated ‘Excellent’ for sustainability

The Wesley Camden in north London, has received an ‘Excellent’ assessment under the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) for its sustainable design and its environmental practices. The Wesley Camden shares its building with Camden Methodist Church and is part of the Wesley Hotel Group. The group, who also operate The Wesley Euston, are known for their commitment to sustainable practices and social responsibility. They are part of the Methodist family.

Responding to homelessness

Folkestone Methodist Church and the Folkestone Rainbow Centre have announced a transformational £5 million partnership project that will demolish the existing Methodist Church on Sandgate Road and construct a purpose-built facility integrating year-round homeless services, community programmes and worship space.

The three-year transformation of Malton’s Wesley Centre in Yorkshire is coming to an end with a brand-new café opening.
Known as Chapel Kitchen, the new café marks the transformation of this landmark building into a vibrant classical music, arts and community hub including an extensive programme of classical concerts.

Street Banquet

However, when the trimmings are packed away and the turkey is a distant memory there are still people who find themselves hungry, without a home and with long winter nights stretching ahead of them.
