A reflection on disappointment

We all fail at much in life.

We admit that we have failed, that our efforts out of our own strength have come to nothing, and our plans lie in pieces. If we are ready to admit our own weakness, God's love can enter our hearts.

Christians understand that failure of the individual 'ego-led' 'self' leads to the life of a new self, our true self that can live a life of freedom, aligned to the free-flowing love of God, selflessly-loving.
