Grant funded project 'Told by the Dial'

If you are interested to read about the resources recently produced for Mount Zion Methodist Heritage Church aimed at engaging young children, including a number of Teacher’s Guides for Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 then please click on the Told by the Dial: Stories in Stone - Told by the Dial: Stories in Stone - Mount Zion Heritage Chapel. One of the booklets provides a basic scheme of work for teachers who wish to bring a group of children to visit their building, as well as a teacher planning guide and a short document for adults, written by the Reverend Tony Buglass, which provides a brief and very useful history of Methodism and Christianity, both in Calderdale and beyond. It provides a good starting point for teachers and community members alike.
