Heritage Morning at St John's Methodist Church, Llandudno

Methodists with an interest in historic building conservation and repair are warmly invited to attend a Heritage Morning at St John’s Methodist Church, Llandudno on 25 September 2026 (10.30am-12.30pm). The free event will showcase the repair and conservation work currently being undertaken to the church’s pinnacles and buttresses, with presentations on the project alongside live demonstrations of traditional stone carving and hot-mix lime mortar techniques. All donations received will help support the church’s ongoing repair and conservation programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for churches planning repair projects, property stewards, heritage volunteers and anyone interested in caring for Methodist historic buildings to see traditional conservation skills in action and learn more about best practice in building repair. If you are within travelling distance of North Wales, please consider attending and encouraging others to do the same. A strong turnout will help support St John’s Methodist Church and raise awareness of the importance of caring for our historic places of worship for future generations.
