Join Wholehearted monthly which launches in March 2025
We're especially delighted that the Ministries Team will be part of Wholehearted Monthly (second Tuesday of each month from 7-9pm). After the main session (see end), we’ll facilitate a monthly space where some of the best of contemporary Methodist scholarship and research is shared and discussed together. The first two months’ speakers are below:
Naomi Prince on: 'Sing and Make Music to the Lord - what does congregational singing look like in the Modern Methodist Church?’ (11 March)
The Revd Miriam Moul will be exploring: How might the hymnody Methodists use shape the social conscience of the church today to ‘serve the present age?’ (8 April). Miriam is Superintendent Minister of the Oxford Circuit, passionate about sharing God’s embracing love for all people, along with baking, singing, and all things Wesley-related!
We’re really excited about these sessions, which will appeal to presbyters, deacons, church musicians, local preachers and worship leaders – anyone with an interest in Methodist worship and/or music and great scholarship and learning. Please do share this invitation widely: it’s hosted by The Methodist Church in Britain and open to all.
