Local Lay-Pastors Community of Practice for those journeying towards accreditation

If you have any Local Lay-Pastors on the journey towards accreditation or they’re beginning to explore it, then please pass this information onto them. The community of practice is designed to support the building of a collegiate network for those in LLP roles as it office continues to grow. Any questions about the network, please get in touch with Gary Hopkins (hopkinsg@methodistchurch.org.uk).

Are you journeying towards accreditation as a Local Lay-Pastor? Are you in a Local Lay-Pastor role, and not yet accredited? Have you started to take some of the Local Lay-Pastor modules at Cliff College? Then this is the group for you.

We’re hosting a monthly online gathering for Local Lay-Pastors in their initial stages of learning and development. We’ll begin to build a community of mutual support, where Local Lay-Pastors can share the joys and challenges, the wisdom and frustrations, and come together as disciples living out an important calling in the life of the church. Come and meet with others and learn how each other’s roles are being lived out in a variety of contexts, and look for connections and inspiration as we explore what God is doing across the Methodist Church.
