Portfolio Readers

Do you know anyone, lay or ordained, who has gifts in assessing written, video and creative work? If so, please encourage them to apply to be a ‘reader’ of candidates’ portfolios.

Those who do this work each year speak of the privilege they feel at having this insight into the discernment journeys of those Candidating for ministry. The work of ‘reading’ the portfolios and writing reports on them is carried out between the third week of November and the first week of January each year. Reports are moderated by the group of readers, so this is supportive and collaborative ministry. The group also gather together for a day of training, review and induction each summer.
