Yet even now, says the Lord, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; rend your hearts and not your clothing. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing. (vs. 12-13)

“Then the Lord became jealous for his land, and had pity on his people.” (v. 18)

Then afterward I will pour out my spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even on the male and female slaves, in those days, I will pour out my spirit. (vs. 28-29)

For then, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat, and I will enter into judgement with them there, on account of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations. (vs. 1-2)

The next day he saw Jesus coming towards him and declared, ‘Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (v. 29)

Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. (v. 2)

The children of God and the children of the devil are revealed in this way: all who do not do what is right are not from God, nor are those who do not love their brothers and sisters. (v. 10)

No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us. (v. 12)

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love. (v. 18)

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. (v. 21)

... for I did not receive it from a human source, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ. (v. 12)

And a voice from heaven said, 'This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.' (v. 17)
