“Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you and you with me.” (v. 20)

You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created. (v. 11)

When he said this, all his opponents were put to shame. (v. 17)

I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (vs.18-19)

But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knitted together by every ligament with which it is equipped, as each part is working properly, promotes the body's growth in building itself up in love. (vs. 15-16)

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (5:1-2)

Though Herod wanted to put him to death, he feared the crowd, because they regarded him as a prophet. (v. 5)

Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ. (v. 21)

Therefore take up the whole armour of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. (v. 13)

'You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the present time?' (v. 56)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. (v. 3)

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him, so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance amongst the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of this great power. (vs. 17-19)
