Then, opening their treasure chests, they offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. (v. 11)

‘Lord, what about him?’ Jesus said to him, ‘If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? Follow me!’ (vs 21-22)

And you will say in that day: 'Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known his deeds among the nations; proclaim that his name is exalted.' (v. 4)

Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus… He humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name… (vs 5-9)

When they saw this, they made known what had been told them about this child; and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds told them.... The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them. (vs 17-18, 20)

No one who denies the Son has the Father; everyone who confesses the Son has the Father also. Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father. (vs 23-24)

'...therefore the child to be born will be holy; he will be called Son of God.' (v. 35b)
