‘There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish. But what are they among so many people?’ (v. 9)

But he said to them, 'It is I; do not be afraid.' (v. 20)

‘Very truly, I tell you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.’ (vs 32-33)

Jesus answered them, ‘Do not complain among yourselves. No one can come to me unless drawn by the Father who sent me; and I will raise that person up on the last day.' (vs 43-44)

'I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.' (v. 51)

Because of this many of his disciples turned back and no longer went about with him. So Jesus asked the twelve, 'Do you also wish to go away?' (vs 66-67)

'Whoever welcomes you welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.' (v. 40)

Jesus said to him, 'Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.' (v. 29)

So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them; and he stayed there two days. And many more believed because of his word. (vs 40-41)

So he asked them the hour when he began to recover, and they said to him, 'Yesterday at one in the afternoon the fever left him.' (v. 52)

Now in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate there is a pool, called in Hebrew Beth-zatha, which has five porticoes. (v. 2)

'The Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing; and he will show him greater works than these, so that you will be astonished.' (v. 20)
