Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would be doing what Abraham did, but now you are trying to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. This is not what Abraham did. You are indeed doing what your father does.” (vs 39-41)

Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, before Abraham was, I am.” So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple. (vs 58-59)

As he walked along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned; he was born blind so that God’s works might be revealed in him." (vs 1-3)

He put before them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to someone who sowed good seed in his field... " (v. 24)

So they said again to the blind man, "What do you say about him? It was your eyes he opened." He said, "He is a prophet." (v. 17)

He said, "Lord, I believe." And he worshipped him. (v. 38)

"I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture." (v. 9)

"I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me." (v. 14)

"The Father and I are one.” (v. 30)

Accordingly, though Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus, after having heard that Lazarus was ill, he stayed two days longer in the place where he was. (vs 5-6)
