I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him, so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance amongst the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of this great power. (vs. 17-19)

“And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.” (v. 7)

“A voice cries out: ‘In the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD.’” (v. 3)

'When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you.' (v. 2)
