The Methodist Church in Britain launches new website platform to support people exploring faith
The Methodist Church in Britain is thrilled to announce the launch of its new website, designed for individuals exploring faith and seeking to deepen their spiritual journey. The site features a contemporary, user-friendly design, improved functionality, and easy access to essential resources to assist visitors in their exploration of faith.
Highlights of the site include a brand new church finder tool, making it easier for users to locate Methodist churches near them, and a comprehensive Resource Hub, providing churches with an array of assets and resources to plan their services and events effectively.
The new website is part of the Church's ongoing commitment to be a growing, inclusive, evangelistic and justice-seeking church. Through God for All: the Connexional Strategy for Evangelism and Growth, specific funds have been made available to enhance the digital presence of the Methodist Church, as well as improve digital competency and confidence across Methodist churches.

Key features of the new website include:
- A brand new Church Finder Tool: An intuitive search tool to help users find Methodist churches in their area, including information about churches and contact information.
- A modern web platform: A simple, modern platform designed with future development in mind, ensuring the website can grow and evolve to meet the changing needs of the Methodist Church.
- A commitment to accessibility: A top priority in the website's design, ensuring that all users can easily navigate and access the information they need. We are committed to implementing changes to make the website more accessible as we discover how people are using it in real context.
- The Resource Hub: A new section providing an extensive collection of assets and resources for churches to plan their services, events, and community outreach programs effectively.
The Methodist Church in Britain's new website will be regularly updated with news of church activities, faith exploration resources, and tools for churches to engage with their local communities. Visitors are encouraged to sign up to the existing Lent 2024 Unbounded Love daily email reflections, which run until Easter Day. Other reflection series will continue throughout the year as part of a further investment into digital evangelism and discipleship journeys, delivering content where people are already spending their time in the online world. As part of our ongoing investment into the digital space, this new website platform represents an opportunity to continually enhance our online presence.
