Encounter Together in Brazil

We’re pleased to launch Encounter Together in Brazil. A two-week group pilgrimage for young adults of the Methodist Church in Britain, aged 18–30. From 3-18 July, young adults will travel together in faith, joining in the Methodist Church in Brazil's mission and evangelism programme.

We would appreciate your support in sharing this opportunity widely, and to prayerfully consider whether you may be able to offer any assistance to enable participants in your church, circuit or district to reach their £500 fundraising target. We expect the full cost to be £2800 per person (including a residential training weekend, travel expenses in Britain, food and accommodation in Brazil, leader costs, and travel to and from Brazil). With support from The World Mission Fund, and other Connexional funds, we are able to subsidise this to £500.

There is an online information evening on 4 November at 6pm and the closing date for applications is 27 November.
