For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified. (v. 2)

When any of you has a grievance against another, do you dare to take it to court before the unrighteous, instead of taking it before the saints? (v. 1)
"My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand." (vs 27-28)
Now concerning virgins, I have no command of the Lord, but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy. I think that, in view of the impending crisis, it is well for you to remain as you are. (vs 25-26)
Now concerning food sacrificed to idols: we know that 'all of us possess knowledge.' Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. (v. 1)
