So Jesus said, ‘When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will realise that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own, but I speak these things as the Father instructed me.’ (v. 28)
'I am the living bread, which came down from heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread, which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.' (v. 51)
And there was much muttering about Jesus among the people. While some said, ‘He is a good man,’ others said, ‘No, he is leading the people astray.’ (v.12)
'And whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple – truly I tell you, none of these will lose their reward.' (v. 42)
Jesus said to him, ‘Stand up, take your mat and walk.’ At once the man was made well, and he took up his mat and began to walk. Now that day was a sabbath. (vs. 8-9)
The Father judges no one but has given all judgement to the Son, so that all may honour the Son just as they honour the Father. Anyone who does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent him. (vs. 22–23)
