For there is still a vision for the appointed time; it speaks of the end, and does not lie. If it seems to tarry, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay. Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith. (vs. 3-4)

Now Peter and his companions were weighed down with sleep; but since they had stayed awake, they saw Jesus’ glory… (v. 32)

For I will leave in the midst of you a people humble and lowly. They shall seek refuge in the name of the Lord. (v. 12)

I will deal with all your oppressors at that time. And I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will change their shame into praise and renown in all the earth. (v. 19)

Go up to the hills and bring wood and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honoured says the Lord. (v. 8)

Take courage, all you people of the land, says the Lord; work for I am with you, says the Lord of hosts, according to the promise that I made you when you came out of Egypt. My spirit abides among you; do not fear. (vs. 4b-5)

'And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us. And do not bring us to the time of trial.' (v 4)

During the night Paul had a vision: there stood a man of Macedonia pleading with him saying, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us.’ (v. 9)

He brought them up into the house and set food before them; and he and his entire household rejoiced that he had become a believer in God. (v. 34)

For as I went through the city and looked carefully at the objects of your worship, I found among them an altar with the inscription, ‘To an unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. (v. 23)

One night the Lord said to Paul in a vision. ‘Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent; for I am with you’ (vv. 9-10)

Also many of those who became believers confessed and disclosed their practices. A number of those who practised magic collected their books and burned them publicly. (vv. 18-19)
