The Lord God has given me the tongue of a teacher, that I may know how to sustain the weary with a word. (v. 4)

My deliverance will be forever, and my salvation to all generations. (v. 8)

One of his disciples – the one whom Jesus loved – was reclining next to him. (v. 23)

"For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes." (v. 26)

They took the body of Jesus and wrapped it with the spices in linen cloths, according to the burial custom of the Jews. Now there was a garden in the place where he was crucified, and in the garden there was a new tomb in which no one had ever been laid. (vs 40-41)

Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; yet we accounted him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed. (vs 4-5)

Jesus said to her, “Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” (v. 17)
