Then the Lord God said, ‘See, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever.' (v. 22)

Then Peter came and said to him, ‘Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?’ Jesus said to him, ‘Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.' (vs 21-22)

We ourselves heard this voice come from heaven, while we were with him on the holy mountain. (v. 18)

... men and women moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. (v. 21b)

I am trying to arouse your sincere intention by reminding you that you should remember the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets, and the commandment of the Lord and Saviour spoken through your apostles. (vs 1b-2)

As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth; and he said to him, ‘Follow me.’ And he got up and followed him. (v. 9)

But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day. (v. 8)

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. (v. 18)

'Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.' (v. 18)

For it is better to suffer for doing good, if suffering should be God’s will, than to suffer for doing evil. (v. 17)

Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins. (v.8)

But rejoice insofar as you are sharing Christ’s sufferings, so that you may also be glad and shout for joy when his glory is revealed. (v. 13)
