Prompted by her mother, she said, 'Give me the head of John the Baptist here on a platter.' (v. 8)

'As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love.' (v. 9)

'This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.' (v. 12)

'If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me before it hated you.' (v. 18)

'When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, he will testify on my behalf.' (v. 26)

Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish.” And her daughter was healed instantly. (v. 28)

Jesus was troubled in spirit, and declared, 'Very truly, I tell you, one of you will betray me.' The disciples looked at one another, uncertain of whom he was speaking.

'I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.' (v. 34)

Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' (v. 6)

'The greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like one who serves.' (v. 26)

'If you love me, you will keep my commandments.' (v. 15)

'Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.' (v. 27)
