'For I am about to create new heavens and a new earth; the former things shall not be remembered or come to mind.' (v. 17)

As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. (v. 13)

And a voice came from heaven, 'You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased.' (v. 11)

Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labour for that which does not satisfy? (v. 2)

'For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.' (v. 7)

Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of injustice, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? (v. 6)

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. (v. 1)

'And you shall know that I, the Lord, am your Saviour and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.' (v. 16b)

But the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. (v. 19b)

Then a cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud there came a voice, 'This is my Son, the Beloved; listen to him!' (v. 7)

The glory of the Lord settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days; on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the cloud. Now the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel. (vs 16-17)

For he received honour and glory from God the Father when that voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory, saying, 'This is my Son, my Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.' We ourselves heard this voice come from heaven, while we were with him on the holy mountain. (vs 17-18)
