"I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." (v. 10)

Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, who heard that Peter was there, sent two men to him with the request, "Please come to us without delay." (v. 38)

Then Peter said, "Can anyone withhold the water for baptising these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?" (vs 46-47)

"Why did you go to uncircumcised men and eat with them?" (v. 3)

When he came and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced, and he exhorted them all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast devotion. (v. 23)
