'Go and learn what this means, “I desire mercy, not sacrifice.” For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.’ (v. 13)

'New wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.' (v. 17)

Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, ‘Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.’ (v. 22)

‘I am no longer worthy to be called your son, make me like one of your hired servants.’ So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms round him and kissed him. (v. 19-20)

The centurion replied, ‘Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.’ ... When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, ‘Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.’ (v. 8-10)

When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him. (v. 14-15)

The disciples went and woke him, saying, ‘Lord, save us! we’re going to drown!’ He replied, ‘You of little faith, why are you so afraid?.’ Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves and it was completely calm. (v. 26-27)

your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.' (v. 27)
