And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love. (v. 13)

Gathered there together were Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples. Simon Peter said to them, ‘I am going fishing.’ They said to him, ‘We will go with you.’ (vs 2-3)

'If you know me, you will know my Father also.' (v. 7)

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one that has been laid; that foundation is Jesus Christ. (v. 11)

But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. I do not even judge myself. (v. 3)
