Many Christian communities meet regularly on Sundays and weekdays in buildings across the UK. But throughout the year communities also pop up all over the place – like in an exhibition centre in the heart of bustling Birmingham, on the noisy trackside at Silverstone circuit, or in the chilly centre of a wintery Kendal.
We believe that God is already present in these places; all we’re doing is showing up and joining in what’s happening.
The Methodist Church shows up in unexpected places – where people gather to create community, celebrate together and connect with friends old and new.
We offer safe spaces to connect, reflect and often refresh – in all senses. From dry (non-alcoholic) bars and cosy yurts to pit stops and roving sofas, each community is a welcoming space for anyone and everyone.
