God loves you
unconditionally, no strings attached.
That's good news.
Being a Christian is about saying ‘yes’ to that love, and going on an adventure with Jesus (Wiki link to who is God). That can be scary, as you don’t know where the journey will take you. But it is so worthwhile and God is with you, every step of the way.
Methodists believe that God is already at work in our lives, even before we know it. We call this ‘prevenient grace’[1] [LINK: page on grace]. Perhaps that resonates with you.
That doesn’t mean that the journey is always easy. Alongside joy and discovery, life is also full of struggle, lament, and perseverance. God joins us in celebrating the highs and mourns with us during the lows.
These pages can help you take the next step in your journey. Saying ‘yes’ is something we seek to continue to do every day, even when things get hard. Keep coming back here to learn more about God, your place in the world, and why we want to share this adventure with you.

Journeys always involve lots of questions. We’ve gathered some simple info to help you to understand Christian faith and the Methodist church.
Give it a Go
We encounter God everyday in the things that we do. Sometimes it’s good to simply live life and see what God does.
