This week is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (18-25 January). The Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI) theme this year is “Unusual Kindness”. It is inspired by the story of St Paul’s shipwreck on the island of Malta (Acts, chapters 27 and 28), and reflects on the “virtue” of hospitality. Both the daily Bible studies and the worship service are built around extracts from those two chapters, together with (in the service order) verses from Psalm 107.

The worship pamphlet and other resources (including a service PowerPoint) can be downloaded from CTBI in English, Welsh and Irish.  No hymn suggestions are made but the ones below may be useful.

Also see the resources suggested on StF's own Week of Prayer for Christian Unity page.
