Larger churches - those with 150 or more attendees - have particular joys and challenges that are not always shared by smaller churches. No two 'larger churches' are the same, of course - some prefer contemporary worship, while others are more traditional; some are in city centres and others in suburbs; some are found in affluent areas and others among people experiencing poverty. Nevertheless, larger churches share certain common features, and the network of ministers of larger Methodist churches is there to share wisdom, encouragement and resources with colleagues facing similar challenges.
