Could your children's or youth group help to tackle loneliness and isolation?

The Children, Youth and Family Team is really excited to be partnering with MHA (Methodist Homes) to pilot a brand new intergenerational befriending scheme, under the Agents of Change banner.

To begin with, we are encouraging children's and youth groups to consider setting up intergenerational penpal schemes and here's a guidance document to help you do just that. 

We'd love to hear and share stories of churches and groups who are reaching out to MHA service users and other older people - building bridges between generations and tackling loneliness and isolation. If you have a story to tell please email the Children, Youth and Family Team!
