The draft agendas that are offered in CPD for Circuit Meetings and Church Councils include immediately after the preliminaries ‘Conversation about the work of God’. We recognise that the business of the Church is nothing more and nothing less than ‘the work of God’. So it is vital that our discussions include and are shaped by reflection on what that means, in a way that listens to what God is saying to us. I am pleased to commend this resource as a way of enabling that to happen and an expression of the truth that whenever we meet to confer in God’s name, the Holy Spirit is moving among us.
