Our  Registered Body for DBS - Due Diligence Checking Ltd

DDC (Due Diligence Checking Ltd.) are our Registered Body that process all DBS / PVG applications for the Methodist Church.

A few points to take note of with the system:

  • Lay verifiers are added onto the system by the ministers who wish them to verify on their behalf. In this way lay verifiers can easily be added onto the system and information can also be easily kept up to date.
  • All DBS applications will be done electronically.
  • PVG (Scotland) applications are still paper based.

Amendments to Access on DDC

If you have issues with the way that your DDC Access is set up, you  should first contact DDC in the first instance to check the access you already have, using the contact details above.  If changes then need to made, an email should be sent to the Connexional Safeguarding Team who can confirm to DDC what is required.
