Due Diligence Checking Ltd is our  'Registered Body' for DBS

DDC (Due Diligence Checking Ltd.) are the 'Registered Body' that process all DBS / PVG applications for the Methodist Church.

A few points to take note of with the system:

  • Lay verifiers are added onto the system by the ministers who wish them to verify on their behalf. In this way lay verifiers can easily be added onto the system and information can also be easily kept up to date.
  • All DBS applications are done electronically.
  • For PVG, from the 1st July 2025 applicants are asked to complete a DDC online application form, similar to the DBS process. Clients will request the PVG check in the same way via the portal.
