LWPHomes

LWPHomes derived from the formation in 1849 of the Methodist Local Preachers Mutual Aid Association (MLPMA). In time, MLPMA felt the need to make specific provision for Local Preachers and their dependants in terms of residential care in retirement. This led to the formation of Mutual Aid Homes (MAH) in 1949. MLPMA and MAH were charities with specific focus on the Methodist Church, In 2004 Mutual Aid Homes (Also formerly LPMA Homes) became the Leaders of Worship and Preachers Homes (LWPHomes).

We provide care and accommodation for those looking for active Christian residential care in retirement. We operate 3 care homes, one in Essex, Somerset and Lincolnshire. We also have an independent living site near Yeovil containing 10 flats.
