This panel discussion will feature Rabbi David Mason, CEO of HIAS-JCORE, in conversation with Simeon Mitchell, Team Leader of the Joint Public Issues Team. HIAS-JCORE is a Jewish charity devoted to supporting refugees in the UK. In a conversation chaired by CCJ Chair Bishop Sarah Bullock, Bishop of Shrewsbury (which includes most of Telford in its episcopal area), these leaders will discuss the recent report by the Local Government Association on community cohesion, Common Ground; threats to refugees, minority groups, and others; the rise of the far-right.
