If you are new to the Conference or it has been a while since your last attended, some of the processes and procedures may seem a bit unfamiliar. The Conference has its own unique language, and ways of referring to things.
To ensure that every member can participate fully from the start, a webpage titled What is the Methodist Conference? has been created to guide you. It includes a helpful set of suggestions and tips to ensure you are well-prepared for the event.
And there will be a New to the Conference online briefing in June 2026. The exact date will be posted here as soon as it is confirmed.
In addition to the online session, an in-person briefing will take place on:
Date: Saturday, 27 June 2026
Time: 11:30 AM
Location: Telford International Centre, Ironbridge Suite.
Both sessions will be led by the Revd Michaela Youngson, Assistant Secretary of the Conference.
For the in-person session, tea and coffee will be served from 11:00 AM in the Atcham Suite, followed by the briefing in the Ironbridge Suite.
The zoom link for the online session will be circulated by email closer to the time.
