Fringe events are an engaging and enriching part of the Methodist Conference experience. While not part of the formal proceedings, they offer Conference representatives, local church members, and the public opportunities to:

  • Share information and ideas
  • Explore topics of special interest
  • Celebrate together in creative and meaningful ways

These events are hosted by a variety of organisations within and outside the Methodist Church, and can include:

  • Lunchtime gatherings
  • Evening briefings
  • Prayer walks
  • Concerts and performances

Fringe events are publicised on the Conference website, providing a valuable platform to reach over 240 Conference representatives and engage with the wider community.

Applications to hold a fringe event at the 2026 Methodist Conference are now closed.

If you have submitted an application, we will contact you in March to let you know whether your event proposal has been accepted.

Information about fringe events taking place at this year’s Conference will be posted on this website in the Programme section in the coming weeks.
