A Prayer for Students as they go to University

This prayer for students can be used in personal devotions, or during church services and meetings.

It can be personalised for exchanging 'our friend' for the student's name.

Lord God – we pray this morning for our friend/s who will shortly be moving to start their university course/s.

We pray for them as they take this great step into the next stage of their lives and ask you to be with them.

May they adjust well to their new surroundings, make friendships and enjoy all the opportunities that university life has to offer.

Help them to study and embrace all the new learning they’ll be doing.

May we be a faithful community supporting, caring and praying for them in these coming days and months.

Let our friend/s know they move forward with our love and help us to keep in touch.

Go in peace to love, serve, learn and flourish!
