Edinburgh Fringe

For one week of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival we join in with the fun of the Fringe hosting an ‘encounter’ space in Nicolson Square, as well as a pop-up conversation space right on the Royal Mile. 2025 will be our fourth year at the Fringe Festival and we can’t wait. As is the way with Fringe, you never quite know what you’ll encounter.

This Festival engagement has a heavy focus on ‘Real Talk’, inviting people to take a break from the busyness of the festival, to sit down and talk, often sharing a time they have felt ‘Lost in Wonder’, often leaving us, the volunteer team feeling lost in wonder ourselves. The main role of volunteers is to have real talk conversations with people they meet, creating a safe space for people to share deeply about their lives and spirituality.
