In the Methodist Church, ‘Candidating’ is the term used to mean offering for ordained ministry. This is a discernment process where individuals and the church consider the call of God to ordained ministry. On the tile ‘Candidating Process’ below there is information and guidance for each stage of the process.
If you would like to be involved in one or more of the processes related to Candidating and Vocational discernment there is a booklet available here that gives more information.
