The Methodist Pioneering Pathways is a place that pioneers can call home, offering support, connection and encouragement. It enables pioneers to grow, develop and be accompanied in their ministry within New Places for New People.
People pioneering within existing churches are most welcome on the pathways too, but our primary focus is to those pioneering new Christian communities.
How do the Methodist Pioneering Pathways work?
Support for pioneers is held both connexionally and locally in collaboration with the District New Places for New People Leads. This happens through:
training opportunities locally and connexionally
district pioneer networks
connexional pioneer events
coaching for pioneers
annual residential and conference
resources.
