We are working on an ongoing programme for youth and young adults who are exploring their calling, vocation and identity as evangelists.
The Young Evangelist Movement is about empowering children and young adults to share their faith in Jesus, confidently, authentically & respectfully in words and deeds. Containing age-appropriate, in-person and online learning and ministry opportunities, and with a focus on mentoring, the Young Evangelist Movement equips:
- all young people for evangelism with materials delivered through Youth Groups
- young people spiritually gifted as Evangelists through the Young Evangelist Community.
Youth Group Materials:
A new six session course for Youth Groups called 'Explore Evangelism' is available now!
The course seeks to help Youth Leaders to journey with their young people to build theological rooting, spiritual confidence, and practical skills for young people in sharing their faith sensitively and effectively.
The materials aim to help young people talk naturally about what God is doing in their lives, and equip young people to share their faith in a relevant and authentic way to their generation and to understand why we do this.
If you'd like to pilot the materials, please contact Richard Oppong-Boateng, Young Evangelist Officer.
Evangelist Coaching and Mentoring Scheme
We're excited about the possibilities of intergenerational learning and want to connect young evangelists with evangelists who are over 25 for mutual learning, mentoring, and coaching. This may mean an experienced evangelist in their 60s mentors a budding evangelist in their 20s, but it may also mean (and we think this is the really exciting option) that a budding evangelist in their 20s, mentors an experienced evangelist in their 60s!
Whatever your age, if you're sensing a call to journey with somebody else in a coaching or mentoring capacity as they engage in evangelism, or if you're an Evangelist looking for a coach or mentor, then we'd love to hear from you. Even if you're not a trained coach or mentor, we can work with you to discern if this is for you and, if so, find the right training to equip you for the task.

Young Evangelist Community:
COMING SOON: The Young Evangelist Community seeks to bring together young people spiritually gifted as Evangelists with an ongoing programme of mentoring, networking and equipping. The Community is for children and young adults aged (14-25 years old) who have a desire to share their faith. Through online and onsite gatherings, the Community seeks to give members the opportunity to build relationships with other young evangelists from all over the UK and to equip, encourage and support each other in sharing our faith.
If you’re a young person who would like to sign up to take part in the Young Evangelist Movement or if you’re a Youth Worker who would like to hear more about how your young people can get involved, please contact Richard Oppong-Boateng (Young Evangelist Officer).
Other opportunities:
In the meantime, if you’re aged 18-25 you can check out these opportunities:
- The Cliff Year provides time for you to grow in faith and equips you to share faith and positively impact the world.
- The ONE Programme – equipping, empowering, and encouraging young people in their discipleship, vocation and leadership.
- ONE Programme Teams – provides opportunities for young people to be part of a short-term overseas or UK based trip that enables them to encounter a different part of the world, a different way of life, or some other experience to open and broaden their minds.
