Lynne Norman - Mission and Community Engagement Development Officer


lynne-photoLynne leads on work that helps to inspire and equip children and young people to be activists, volunteers, campaigners, peace-makers and project-starters. This includes supporting children and young people in communities of practice (eg Green Agents of Change), working with the Social Justice Youth Reps, liaising with strategic partners such as JPIT, All We Can and Christian Aid and representing Children, Youth and Family on key Methodist steering groups (eg the COP26 Campaign).

She is one of two Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructors for the team and manages website content for the team and e-newsletters. Lynne is part of the 3Generate development team, with a special focus on resources and training for group leaders.

Lynne volunteers as a youth leader with her church, working with 11 – 18 year olds. She is also the current Chair of the Council of Reference for the Student Christian Movement and on the Exec of the National Estate Churches Network.
