As sharers of the Good News, often our job is simply to make space for God to move in our conversations.
Two key ways we can do that are through regular sharing of testimony and intentional cultivation of real talk.
Testimony isn't just the story of how you came to faith, it's the expression of the effect faith has on your life - whatever that looks like for you. Some people are brilliant at sharing this naturally, but many of us benefit from reflecting on how we might outwardly articulate what we know and feel internally.
'Real Talk' is about our ability to participate in and prompt conversations that go a little deeper. Often, a lack of confidence in talking about our faith is a symptom of a wider lack of confidence and practice in having deep, meaningful, real conversations more generally.
Real talk and testimony go hand-in-hand because they are both about improving our ability and willingness to have evangelistic conversations in our everyday lives. When we have more real conversations with people, more chances to share our testimony naturally arise.
