At just under three months, this programme is ideal if you are looking for a sabbatical, post university or post-retirement volunteering opportunity. You will be in the Holy Land for a maximum of just under three months (due to visa requirements). You will work closely with the Methodist Liaison Office to arrange your placement of four to twelve weeks tailored to meet your interests.
The expectation is of at least 4 days a week volunteering at 1 or 2 West Bank projects;
Other seasonal opportunities such as olive planting and picking would be possible, or more specialised volunteering depending on your experience and skills.
In consultation with yourself the Methodist Liaison Office can organise your placements and arrange accommodation for you within your project, though it will be your responsibility to book your own flights.
Expected cost, excluding flights, approximately between £2,000 and £3,500 depending on length of stay and type of accommodation.
