Support the District of Haiti in prayer

Have you heard about the ongoing crisis in Haiti?

Voices for Haiti

Right now, up to a million Haitians are facing displacement and the devastating impacts of gang violence. This widespread violence is creating a severe crisis in education, health and food security across the island, with women and girls being the most affected. We hear many people’s stories of despair and loss of hope.

But our partners in Haiti are offering hope to their communities

In spite of the difficult circumstances, the Haiti District of the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas (MCCA) is committed to being church and caring for its community – being the hands and feet of Christ.

As partners we want to come alongside that work. We can do that through prayer.

Starting 12 January 2026, on the 16th anniversary of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, we will be releasing a series of six short films featuring Haitians sharing their personal experiences of today’s crisis. These films are an invitation to listen, learn and pray for Haiti.

Sign up now to receive six weekly emails beginning 12 January, filled with these powerful stories and prayer prompts!
