What is it?
We’re looking for a minimum of 12 young adults (ages 18–30) from diverse backgrounds—whether you’re deeply involved or on the fringes of church life—to join the Young Adult Think Tank for one year. This is a chance to meet others, grow skills, and influence transformation across the Methodist Church in Britain.
Aims
Hear and amplify young adult voices.
Collaborate on projects like Young Adult Mission Placement Scheme (YAMPS).
Act as a sounding board for ideas and improvements.
Build a sustainable young adult community across the connexion.
Eligibility
Aged 18–30, connected to the Methodist Church (or interested in its mission and values).
Passionate about shaping initiatives for young adults.
Able to commit to occasional online input and one overnight gathering per year.
Commitment
Flexible involvement—mostly online – a minimum 6 1 hour meetings per year.
All-expenses-paid overnight stay on 5th/6th June at Eastwood Hall in Nottinghamshire, for team building and induction.
Members can step back at any time by notifying the coordinator.
