Monday and Tuesday of Holy Week

Read: Mark 11:15-19

When Jesus came to Jerusalem, he went into the Temple. There were people cheating others out of their money. Jesus was very angry.

Holy Week in a Box: 
Put two coins in the box. The religious leaders asked Jesus if it was right to pay taxes to the Roman Emperor. Read Jesus’ answer in Mark 12:13-17. 

Start work on building your Easter Garden, instructions for how to do this and what you need can be found on p. 18 of the Creative Lent Journal.  You can adapt this simple idea to use whatever you have to hand in your garden or can find in places local to you. 

Wonder:
How can we use our money wisely?  How can we give to God?

Pray: 
Lord God help us to know how to spend our money well, using it in ways that will help other people. Amen
