Living Christianity in the Holy Land
You are invited to step into a story of living faith.
Join a unique visit to the land of Jesus that goes beyond a traditional pilgrimage.
The Methodist Church invites you on a powerful and life-changing journey to a land marked by deep history and ongoing conflict.
Organised by the Methodist Liaison Office, this is not just a tour of sacred sites: It is an opportunity to walk alongside ‘living stones’ – the people who call this land home. And to explore what it means to live our Christian faith through complexity, struggle and hope.
Why join Living Christianity in the Holy Land 2027?
- Encounter people of the land: Meet with local Christians, Jews and Muslims. Hear their stories. Learn how faith is lived with resilience, amidst occupation and division.
- Deepen your discipleship: Engage in worship, reflection and theological learning, rooted in the realities of the land where Jesus walked.
- Stand in solidarity: This visit is an act of encouragement to peacebuilders and justice-seekers in the region.
- Be equipped: Come home better informed and inspired to share about the situation.
“I came away with a deeper understanding of the complexities of the region, but also a renewed sense of hope. The people we met – their courage, their faith – changed me.”
